Accelerating. Together.

Since 2011, when Found.ation was born, the organization has grown, evolved, and changed a lot. If something has stayed the same, it’s our thesis, which is always by the side of startups. Completing our first acceleration program in collaboration with EIT Digital, we feel we have advanced a little further, along with our teams.

The ARISE Europe Venture Program undertaken by Found.ation for the Eastern Balkans region is only one of just two European technology acceleration programs implemented by EIT Digital for the first time this year. As a strategic partner in the annex of this European Innovation and Technology Center, we are very proud to be involved in shaping it and laying the foundations for it to be repeated in the coming years.

We selected eight teams from Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, all of whom came with a passion to start their company and product from scratch and within just two months have shown how much they can achieve when setting goals and working vigorously.

On Tuesday, July 10th, these teams will be presenting their progress through the ARISE Europe accelerator program. We invite you to watch their final pitching, which will secure them the ultimate prize of €15,000 to start their business and to be more prepared for their first step to the market.

The eight teams with whom we had the opportunity to bond through an intense, two-day bootcamp we’ve organized, as well as 5 weeks of close counseling, are:

• Bagsquad – a curated fashion marketplace for designer bags.
• EasyDoc – a platform that helps patients search for and make an appointment with a doctor, with just a few clicks.
• Eliminatore – An environmentally friendly algae cleaning solution for aquaculture nets.
• Embiots – An end-to-end IoT solution for monitoring the use, location and status of professional power tools.
• HireFlows – A small- and medium-sized staff recruitment platform that makes use of cutting-edge search algorithms.
• Orderstate – A cloud service for exceptional SME supply chain control.
• Quarioo – An integrated air quality and energy management monitoring system
• Scoop – A modern small-business customer reward mechanism through social networks.
