Apifon becomes the 1st Greek company to join the EIT Digital Accelerator

Through its integration into the EIT Digital network, Apifon reaps multiple benefits, as the European organization possesses a high level of know-how in business development and a large network of partners.

Found.ation supports businesses that want to grow and open their wings across borders, not only in theory but in practice, through our partnership with EIT Digital (part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology).

So we are proud of the fact that our proposal, Apifon, the Greek technology company that designs and develops business messaging services, is the first of our country to join the EIT Digital Accelerator.

Through its integration into the EIT Digital network, Apifon reaps multiple benefits, as the European organization possesses a high level of know-how in business development and a large network of partners. This opens the way to expand into new countries and markets, as well as new funding opportunities.

We wish Apifon a successful course in the European market, rapid growth and further development of its already innovative products!

Apifon CEO Konstantinos Stroumpakis remarked:

We are proud to be part of the EIT Digital family, which helps innovative and promising companies excel in the European high-tech market.

A few words about Apifon:

Apifon has created the first multi-channel messaging and automation platform for mobile marketing that allows communication through multiple channels such as SMS, e-mail, Viber, WhatsApp and more. Messaging platforms are not designed for business use due to multiple platform connectivity issues and complexity in managing multiple channels. As businesses primarily communicate with their customers through messaging systems, Apifon’s solution focuses on a real need for companies. Companies can use Apifon technology to grow their customers, design campaigns, measure their performance, improve their customer experience, and enable automated marketing activities to increase revenue. Based in Thessaloniki, Apifon has been counting on multiple successes since 2014, when it was founded, and recently announced a partnership with IBM and Google. Targeting businesses with a large number of customers and data in Southern and Central Europe, it has gained a strong customer base of over 1,500 customers including household names such as IKEA, Starbucks, L’Oreal and H&M.
