Submit Your Innovative Healthtech Idea to Pfizer CDI’s Start4Health Accelerator Program! 

Pfizer CDI, in partnership with SciCo and Found.ation, has announced the Start4Health accelerator program for Greek startups working on eHealth, Bioinformatics, Business Intelligence, and Green Innovation. The aim is to transform the health and pharmaceutical industry by promoting digital innovation and creating mutually beneficial relationships with the local innovation ecosystem.

The Start4Health program seeks visionary ideas that can make a real impact in healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. It is the second iteration of the startup acceleration program that was launched in 2022. This year, the program looks for a broader range of solutions beyond digital healthcare, spanning across the entire value chain of digital innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. 

The program invites startups that have exceptional talent, skills, and technology to submit their proposals. The team should have a passion to co-create and continuously improve to achieve the program’s goal of breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. The program offers a platform for startups to shape the future of healthcare and pharmaceuticals by promoting innovation and increasing engagement with the local innovation ecosystem.

The Start4Health program is open to startups that work on the following key themes: 

• eHealth: Solutions that improve patients’ lives through the use of technology ranging from digital biomarkers, diagnostics and therapeutics, biomedical devices, health literacy to clinical decision support systems. 
• Bioinformatics: Computational techniques, algorithms, and platforms that process, analyze and interpret biological data, and efficiently aid in novel and faster discoveries in the field of life sciences. 
• Business Intelligence: Data-driven solutions that encompass data analysis, reporting, and decision-making, optimizing operations and strategy. 
• Green Innovation: Sustainability-focused initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry value chain, spanning from production to delivery, e.g., eco-friendly environmentally sustainable practices and technologies, carbon emission reduction efforts, energy-efficiency enhancements, and advancements in materials, green chemistry, transportation, smart buildings, and waste management. 

The Start4Health program has the potential to transform healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry by promoting digital innovation and engaging with the local innovation ecosystem.  By providing a platform for startups to pitch their ideas and receive guidance from experts, the program encourages innovation and supports startups to achieve their goals.

The deadline for submissions is May 26, 2023, and the program offers cash prizes of €25,000 and €10,000 and potential collaboration opportunities to the top two winning teams.
