The last few years, agile methodologies are gaining traction in the corporate world with many benefits in a lot wider settings than only software development. But introducing agile in an established organization needs to be an approach that is intentional, gradual and not disruptive. Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and frameworks like the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and the Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) have helped thousands of organizations put a structured approach that is context-specific and reproducible. How you decide to approach this challenge and what initial targets you set is a crucial strategic decision. Tackling too many KPIs or starting with an inappropriate ones may prove to be a costly mistake, as well as trying to enforce a change to a team without planning and training.
HOW WE DO IT

The aim of our framework is to provide a short staged and structured process for an organization to assess itself and start on the path of using agile methodologies. Initially an assessment of the current business agility takes place, with specific areas identified. KPIs and key training needs are detected and an implementation plan template that includes a low risk case is set. The plan takes into account the time for people to adapt and the methodology to demonstrate the expected benefits, while setting regular monitoring by facilitating online/offline events and a review and adapt step. The assessment is both quantitative and qualitative so that it can be reproduced for future repetitions and comparisons if necessary.
